In this article we will take a look at the 2009 Alabama football schedule and discuss the possible wins and losses ahead for the Crimson Tide. The team returns stud receiver Julio Jones and some amazing talent on the defensive side of the ball. But they lost some important pieces on offense so it remains to be seen if they can replicate the success from a year ago. Enough talk here is the 2009 Alabama football schedule.

September 5th Virginia Tech

September 12th Florida International

September 19th North Texas

September 26th Arkansas

October 3rd at Kentucky

October 10th at Ole Miss

October 17th South Carolina

October 24th Tennessee

November 7th LSU

November 14th at Miss State

November 21st Chattanooga

November 28th at Auburn

First off I just to state that with only 4 or 5 starters returning on offense they could find themselves in some dangerously close situations. Looking at the 2009 Alabama football schedule I see the following games as wins: Florida International, North Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, Miss State, Chattanooga and Auburn.  So that is pretty much 8 wins that I think they have in the books for the 2009 football schedule barring an upset.

The games against Virginia Tech, Tennessee, LSU and Ole Miss are likely to be very tough. I don’t know what really to expect from the game with Virginia Tech and it being so early in the season could be a good or bad thing for the Crimson Tide. With all of those new players on offense Virginia Tech may be able to swing some easy defensive points and make it tough for the Crimson Tide coaches. I have a gut feeling that Alabama will have losses against LSU and Ole Miss.
