A steam facial can give your skin a beautiful glow. It is also a great way to relax and pamper yourself. In addition, you can experience quick transformation. Steam opens the skin’s pores while deeply cleansing and rejuvenating the skin’s layers. Using herbs in facial steam is a wonderful way to nourish skin. Here is how to do a steam facial.

1.Gather your supplies. Therapeutic fresh herbs or essential oils you pick from natural food market can be infused in the water so that their healing benefits will become part of the steam and reach deep into your pores. This simple steam with some soothing herbs can turn ordinary facial into a relaxing, and spa-like experience. A large towel and large metal pan to hold the steaming water are needed in addition to herbs and essential oils.

2. Prepare water .  Use your metal pan and add 5 and a half cups of water along with three drops of essential oils, allow the water to boil after which you may turn down the temperature that’s just warm enough to allow yourself to penetrate.

3. Make a tent  over your head with a towel and lent down into the steam. Use the towel to trap as much of the steam as possible and direct it towards your face. Stay in this position for ten to fifteen minutes.

4. Complete your facial with astringent or cream to follow after the time has elapsed to close the pores.

5. Before you opt  using herbs, you should speak to your doctor if you have asthma and allergies to herbs.
