Pronto Pizza is a delivery and take-out service and they are located in the north part of the city at via di Grottarossa 163, and the place is only open in the evening from 6:30 P.M on. The actual place is really small and it is easily missed  but they do delivery service within 10 kilometers in the near neighborhoods such as the Cassia area, Grottarossa and Tomba di Nerone, these areas also have some bed and breakfasts if you are there as a tourist visiting the city.

This little take-out place is so small that if you have more than two people in line, it will seem crowded but their pizzas are good and they have a variety of choices; they have 86 different types of pizzas, 9 types of calzones and 10 filled pizzas and fried side dishes.

For the fried dishes as sides you can order some of their crochettes which are fried potato balls for 0,80 Euros each or some olive Ascolane which are fried olives filled with ground meat inside and they are 2,00 Euros for six olives. Or some fiori di zucca; which literally means pumpkin flowers but that is not what you would eat.. What they really are is flowers of the yellow squash, and they are stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies and then fried in olive for 1,10 Euros each.

As far as for pizza’s you have plenty of choices and you can go with a popular Margherita, which is tomato sauce and mozzarella for 3,80 Euros, or a Marinara which is just tomato sauce, oregano, olive oil and garlic, or a Rossa (red) which is just tomato sauce, oregano and olive oil for 3,20 Euros.

If you want a more substantial pizza you can go with the Capricciosa, which is a good choice for the undecided people, and it has tomato sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, olives, artichokes, prosciutto and an egg for 4,70 Euros, but if the Capricciosa is too overwhelming and you like spicy food go with the Diavola, which is tomato sauce, mozzarella and spicy salami for 4,70 Euros.

Being in Rome, two of the typical Roman sauces for pasta could not be forgotten on pizzas! One is called Amatriciana and it is tomato sauce, bacon, chili pepper and pecorino cheese and the Carbonara, which is mozzarella, egg, bacon, parmesan and pepper for 5,30 Euros.
