Reviewing the Fish Restaurant in Houston, TX

The Fish restaurant is located at 309 Gray Street, Suite 107 in midtown Houston and their hours of operations are Monday through Wednesday from 11:00 A.M to 11:00 P.M, Thursday and Friday from 11:00 A.M to midnight, Saturday from noon to midnight and Sunday noon till 11:00 P.M.

The interior of the restaurant is modern with red wallpaper with modern art paintings, and the seating is wood lacquered with red cushions and wood tables and on top you have black napkins. The red lights on top of the ceiling also give a more intimate but happening atmosphere to the place, and it is a great place to bring your date.

For appetizers you can start with different ones such as the beef rib-eye rolls which are Rib eye rolls, avocado and teriyaki, or the beef spring rolls which have a wasabi puree and spicy sesame, a binaga tataki which is pan seared albacore with tangerine oil or even a hiya yako which is fresh tofu, shaved bonito with a ponzu sauce to name a few.

If you opt for some soup and salad, you can choose the typical miso soup or shrimp tempura udon which has seasonal vegetables and shrimp tempura and for a salad choice maybe go with an Ika salad which is smoked cuddle fish with Asian vegetables or a spiked shrimp salad with mixed greens vegetables and macerated tomatoes.

Then they have a lot of choices for their specialty rolls such as the Bubba Gump (in honor of the movie Forrest Gump) which is shrimp tempura and cucumber inside with shrimp and avocado outside, or even try the Millennium which is spicy tuna topped with peppercorn tuna, avocado & light lemon sesame sauce or you can order the Godzilla roll which is fresh salmon with chopped onions, jalapenos and a green Tabasco sauce for the spicy lovers. And if you like spicy, you can order Lickitty Split which is spicy tuna and soft shell crawfish topped with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and avocado.
