For this absolutely best-tasting Lasagne you need to take time. My mother used to say that when you put time and love into your cooking, your cooking will be at its best.
4 tablespoons of olive oil
250 g of ground beef
Heat the oil and brown the beef.
1 teaspoon of salt
2 cloves of garlic
1 onion, chopped
Cut the garlic in half and turn it in the salt. Add with onions to beef and cook for a few minutes.
2 tablespoons of tomatopaste
2 tablespoons of flour
1 dl of red wine
1 medium-sized can of peeled tomatoes
salt and pepper
1.5 teaspoon fresh oregano, chopped
1 bay leaf
Add tomato paste to meat, sprinkle it with the flour. Add wine and follow with tomatoes. Taste with salt and black pepper, oregano and bay leaf. Mix well and let it cook until you have a creamy sauce.
50 g butter
50 g flour
5 dl cold milk
salt, fresh pepper and some nutmeg
4 tablespoons of fresh Parmesan, shredded
Let butter melt in a cooking pot over low to medium heat. Add flour and keep stirring for a couple of minutes. Then, add cold milk. Keep stirring to make sure your sauce will have a smooth consistency. Add salt, fresh pepper and some nutmeg to taste. Add Parmesan and stir well. Keep on very low heat so it doesn’t burn.
Cook Lasagne noodles for approximately 5 min, drain and spray them down with cold water.
Layer a baking dish with tomato sauce and then white sauce. Cover with one layer of Lasagne noodles. Again follow up with tomato sauce and white sauce and again noodles until you are out of sauce. Finish with a top layer of Lasagne noodles.
200 g Mozarella cheese
1.5 teaspoons of chives
Slice the Mozarella cheese thinly and lay it on top. Preheat oven to 200 C. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is light to gold brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chives. Cool down 5 min before serving.
So far everybody that has tried this Lasagne has told me that it was the best-tasting Lasagne. I hope you can share this opinion. If you have a better recipe, i would love to hear from you so I can try it out and spoil my family with awesome cooking.
