Easy desert with left over cookies

Yield: 4-5 servings

Ingredients:

1/4 gallon low fat milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup or less sugar

4 tbsp flour

2 eggs yolk

2 banana, sliced thinly

Directions:

Put milk in a pot and stir until it boils.

If you are using fresh cookies or just opened the box, soak them in milk just for 5 seconds. Lay the cookies on a dish, cover with the mixture, and add the banana slices then a cookie again. Repeat as much as you want. Also you can add some nuts.

Decorate with chocolate syrup and whip cream.

Have fun!

Turkish beans salad.

Yield: 4-5 servings

Ingredients:

2 cans of northern beans (drained)

2 medium tomatoes (diced)

1 onion (cut finely in half moons)

1/2 cup parsley (chopped)

2 egg (hard boiled, sliced)

Olive oil, red wine vinegar

Directions:

Pour the beans in a medium serving bowl.

First add eggs than diced tomatoes, onions, followed by the parsley.

Add olive oil and vinegar.

Ready to serve!

Spinach in garlic and yogurt

Yield: 4-5 servings

Ingredients:

1 pound of fresh spinach

2 cloves of onions

1 clove of garlic (minced)

2 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup plain yogurt

Black pepper

Crushed red pepper

Directions:

Wash the spinach and chop it into pieces.

Place in a large saucepan.

Add the onion and garlic, covered, cook about 5 minutes.

Shake the pan frequently.

Add the olive oil and cook 3 more minutes.

Stir constantly.

Remove from the heat.

Stir yogurt in a bowl, add cooked spinach, salt, black pepper

Sprinkle with crushed red pepper

Serve hot. Enjoy

Creamy chicken noodle soup

Yield: 4-5 servings

Ingredients:

1/2 chicken, cut up

2 tbsp flour

4 handful thin noodle

3/4 cup milk or half in half

Salt, black pepper, dry mint, garlic (minced),

Fresh lemon juice

Directions:

In a large saucepan cover chicken with water.

Bring to boil.

Cook till tender. Remove bone from chicken and chop to pieces

Add chicken and noodle to the broth.

Meanwhile, mix half in half, flour, spicy, garlic, lemon juice in a small bowl.

Add the mixture to the soup and stir occasionally.

Cook for 5 more minutes.

Ready to serve.

Grilled green bell pepper with fresh tomato sauce

Yield: 4-5 servings

Ingredients:

4-5 cubanelle pepper

4 tomatoes (grated)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp mint or basil

2 cloves garlic

Salt

Directions:

Core the peppers by cutting lengthwise, around the stem, seeds and ribs.

Preheat the grill on high. Brush the peppers with oil.

Cook 6-10 minutes.

Meanwhile prepare the rest of the ingredients, put in a sauce pan and cook a few minutes.

Sauce is ready.

Delicious Crock Pot Potatoes

Yield: 5-6 servings

Ingredients:

4 cans sliced white potatoes, drained

2 cans cream of mushroom soup

Velveeta cheese, sliced

Dried onion flakes

Garlic powder (if desired)

Salt

pepper

Directions:

To make a main dish add hamburger or chunks of ham

Layer in Crockpot: 1 can of potatoes, 1/2 can soup, cheese to cover, onion, garlic, salt, pepper.

Continue layering until you use all the potatoes and soup.

Cook on high for 2 hours; then reduce to low until cheese is melted.

And the food is ready to serve

Casserole of Sweet Potato sausage

Yield: 3-4 servings

Ingredients:

2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. link sausage
3 tablespoons raisins
2 tablespoons water
1/4 cup orange juice

Directions:

Combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, and margarine, salt.
Place sausage links in skillet with water,
cover & simmer for 5-8 minutes till cooked.
Drain, then cook slowly, turning often until well browned.
Place mashed sweet potatoes in 1-1/2 qt. casserole.
Arrange sausages on top. Pour orange juice over top.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
