How to Prepare Seafood Pasta Supreme

If you enjoy seafood and pasta, you must try my recipe for “seafood pasta supreme”.  You will need 1 pound penne pasta, 1 cup light olive oil, 1 cup white wine, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper, ¼ cup chopped garlic, 1 cup fresh parsley, 1 pound jumbo shrimp (peeled & cleaned), 1 pound large scallops, 1 cup fresh chopped clams, 1 cup lump crabmeat. 

 In large skillet place butter, and garlic on low flame and sauté for about 7 minutes, add oil, wine, salt, pepper, parsley, wine, butter, sauté for another 7 minutes.  The last step is you want to add all seafood to liquid mixture and sauté an additional 4 minutes.  Do not over cook seafood or it becomes chewy.

 In large pot bring 5 cups of water to boil, add penne, cook 5-8 minutes, remove and drain pasta.  Place pasta in large serving dish, add seafood & sauce.  Next add some fresh parsley on top and add about ¼ cup of grated Locatelli cheese.  You can use rigatoni, angel hair, or any pasta of your choice.  Enjoy!!

 This recipe has been in my family for 40 years and you will absolutely love it!  I will admit, the ingredients especially the seafood can be quite expensive to buy but well worth it.  Sometimes you can catch a special sale on seafood at a local market.  The crab is probably the most expensive of the seafood.  The fresh parsley  really brings out the taste.  Chopped clams ae usually not too expensive.
