Macaroni dish with parmesan

Macaroni dish with parmesan cheese is a wonderful recipe which is easy for preparation. The time for preparing it is about an hour. The recipe could serve 5-6.

Ingredients:

1kg macaroni

1 tea spoon salt

300 gr sugar

350 gr peas

200 gr carrots

300 gr bacon (if you do not have bacon you can use sausage, although the taste is different)

2 table spoons butter

100 gr parmesan cheese

Tomato sauce or ketchup

Method of preparation:

After cleaning and washing the vegetables-peas and carrots, the first you have to do is to put the macaroni into a big pot full with cold water and a tea spoon salt. Boil them for about half an hour. Meanwhile you have to prepare the bacon by cutting it into stripes. Put it into a frying pan and fry into the preheated butter. Then you have to place the sugar and stir well. Place the peas and caarrots and cook for 5 minutes. Remove the water if there is any. Put the peas into the frying pan and fry for 5 minutes. The next thing you have to do is to place half of the macaroni into a baking pan. The baking pan should be with oil and onto it you have to place the macaroni. Then place the mixture of bacon, carrots and peas. Onto them you have to place another half of the macaroni. On the top put the parmesan cheese. Bake for 15 or 20 minutes. If you do not have parmesan cheese you can use some kind of yellow cheese but with parmesan is better. Serve the dish with tomato sauce. Ketchup is also possible. Enjoy the dish with white wine!
