Twilight Movie

This is not the books I would read normally. Sometimes, I feel sick of love and romance but once I got hooked on to the first book, naturally, I would be addicted to the others as well (the other three books).

Seeing that I have read the first book, naturally, I would have to watch the movie as well (as if I need it to complete my Twilight saga).

In short, I would say that Twilight book and Twilight movie are two extremely different things and I love the book more than I love the movie.
The Book

It is excellent. The narration and all fit in perfectly.

I love the connection between Bella and Edward. They were made for each other. Perfect couple. One human, one vampire = a human who will be a vampire in order to join the vampire because the vampire can never be a human anymore.

How sweet can that be?

A human that is 17 years old and a vampire who is like 100+ years old. Talking about marrying someone decades older than you, old enough to be the father, old enough to be the grand father.

This is the type of fantasy I need, oh yes.

A love story like this is not only going to attract young adults but teenagers too – maybe as young as 12.

Of course, Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett are all perfect couples. Perfect for each other.

I like Alice, especially with her bubbly character than never seems to be boring at all. Carlisle and Esme are simply gorgeous.

I can never stop talking about the book, oh my.
The Movie

Not exactly how I expect it to be. Rather disappointed actually.

The movie is based on the book, so it must have a good story but there is something wrong with the director or the script writer. Something is just missing.

The casts are wonderful but if I were to pretend not knowing the story line and watch this movie, I would have problem understanding as the scenes exchange without further explanation or without any connection at all.

Ok, maybe this is just me, but I think the movie could have been better. Perhaps this first Twilight movie can enlighten the director and the casts to produce a better sequel(s).

I would love to watch all four books being made into movies.

I would give Twilight a rating of 7 out of 10.
