My faith looks up to thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
You hear me
While I pray
Take all my guilt away
Oh, Let me from this day,
Be Wholly thine.
We sing hymns such as Trust and Obey, for there is no other way. To be Happy in Jesus, but to Trust and obey. Hymns bring lot of peace into our hearts and minds. Hymns glorify God and it is important that we memorize hymns and sing wherever and whenever we are working or free. When we sing hymns, we are offering praises to God, and God truly appreciates those who sing praises to Him.
We praise God, for many reasons. First, it is God’s commandment to worship Him and honor him with full heart, soul and mind. Our praises reach God, and His blessings descend on us. In fact, God waits on us, to see how far we are searching Him on this earth and whether we are truly busy in finding solutions to the problems.
God always says, do not worry too much about yourself, but give yourself to me and I will surely take care of you. I will guard you and keep you as an apple of my eye. But we do not have time to listen to God’s words. We always get carried away by our own illusions and mind frame set.
Praising God, is another art of communication with God apart from meditating on His word, the Holy Bible. When we read a passage, God’s speaks to us through the scriptures and that is how, God reveals what he wants from us. Not only in the present times, but even in the olden days, God prophesied with prophets, kings and queens. One thing is certain that God takes care of his people and he will surely guard his chosen people.
