A few years removed from winning a Super Bowl the New York Giants remain one of the more popular teams in the NFL playing in the might NFC East with other powerhouses like the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and Phliadelphia Eagles. Here today we are gonna discuss some of the Madden NFL 10 New York Giants player ratings for the upcoming season.

On the offensive side of the ball there are some rankings that I find pretty screwy with the Madden NFL 10 New York Giants player ratings. The very first one that I have a problem with is that Eli Manning is an 87. This would be about right except for the fact that they lowered the rankings this year for most of the league. There is no way he should be rated higher than guys like Jay Cutler, Aaron Rogers and Tony Romo but that is just my opinion. The offensive line here is probably one of the best groups in the game. But when you look at the receivers that is where the weakness lies with them all being a 76 or lower on the roster.

The defense is where players are gonna have to make an impact in terms of Madden NFL 10 New York Giants player ratings. For the most part everything is well rounded here except for a couple starters in the secondary but they can be built up in the franchise mode. The defensive line is gonna be tough to play against with several guys rated in the 90s like Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora.
