Frosty Fruit Slush

Frosty fruit slush is a yummy slush to prepare for children to serve as evening snack time. They love it absolutely.

Ingredients

  1. 8 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
  2. 11 ounces mandarin oranges, drained
  3. 5 large ripe bananas, sliced
  4. 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  5. 2 cups water
  6. 12 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  7. 12 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  8. 1 cup diet lemon-lime soda

Preparation Method

  • In a blender, place half of the pineapple, oranges, bananas and strawberries
  • Cover and process until smooth
  • Pour into a large bowl
  • Repeat stir in the remaining ingredients , mix well
  • Pour or spoon ½ cup each into 24 glass or plastic cups
  • Cover and freeze for at least 2 hours
  • Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving
  • May be frozen for up to one month.

Tip

Strawberries stay fresh longer if stored unwashed, with the stems on, in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator.
