Most everyone loves a great omelet, but not everyone knows how to make an amazing omelet. After reading this easy recipe, you will be able to make an omelet everyone is sure to love.
Bacon, Mushroom and Cheese Omelet
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup bacon bits
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Tablespoon chopped parsley
- handful sliced mushrooms
- Tablespoon butter or margarine
Put the butter or margarine in a small frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and heat the mushrooms until browned. Take the bacon bits, shredded cheddar cheese, parsley, and mushrooms and mix in a bowl.
Beat the 3 eggs and ¼ cup milk together in a separate bowl until well blended. Add the egg mixture in the same pan you used to brown the mushrooms, at medium-high heat, making sure you spread the egg mixture evenly throughout the pan. When the eggs are almost completely cooked, spread the mixture of bacon bits, cheddar cheese, parsley, and mushrooms over half of the omelet. Than fold the omelet in half.
Transfer the omelet to a plate and salt and pepper to taste. Bon Appetit!
Tips: You can make an omelet with any favorite ingredient you like. You can add vegetables, such as, broccoli, corn, and tomatoes. Some people even use fresh fruits, such as, strawberries, apples, oranges, and peaches. You can even top your omelet with salsa, sour cream and even cream cheese. Whatever your taste buds desire is what you can use in your omelet.
