Top Five Interview Questions
Getting ready for an interview requires time and perseverance. The more you know about the company and yourself, the better it is for you in the long run.
Here are my top five questions that should help you on your way to a successful interview.
1. What can you tell me about our company?
Before going to any interview, it’s best to research the company and know what they are all about, such as; services, products, size, reputation, and competition. Check to see if they are on the internet. Ask your friends and family if they know anything.
2. Tell me about yourself.
This should include your education, work experience, and accomplishments, as well as, your individual skills related to the job applying you are applying for.
3. What unique strengths are you prepared to bring to the company?
Specify at least two skills that you possess and be prepared to back them up with details.
For example, you may say, “I am an very analytical when it comes to problem solving. I seem to have to dissect the problem to find the solution. I am also a hard worker who enjoys challenges”.
4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
You may answer, “I just not looking for a job, I’m looking a career. I want to learn in hopes to be considered for other positions within your company.”
5. What is your biggest weakness?
This doesn’t need to be a bad thing. Sometimes a weakness can be seen as a strength.
For example: “I cannot leave a job have done. I seem to go home and think about different solutions to finish it”.
