Filipino boxing superstar is back home with his beloved family after hurriedly traveling to New York in the middle of a family bonding weekend, to attend the awarding ceremonies of the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA). Pacquiao was one of the awardees in the star-studied affair. He received the ‘Boxer of the Year Award’ for the second time.
Michael Koncz, the Filipino boxer’s adviser, confirmed that Pacquiao was the most applauded guest during the affair which was held at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Pacquiao and family were originally scheduled to go to Australia for the needed rest and vacation which the pound-for-pound king said was long overdue.
The world’s most popular boxer is due to resume his training at the Wild Card gym in Los Angeles, California under the trainer of the year awardee and Wild Card owner Freddie Roach, at least three months before his next fight which is scheduled for either October or November this year.
