All of us love to eat, and most of us also has our own balance diet. but what exactly are the food that can actually help us to have a healthier heart. Here are some ways to help us achieve our goal of healthy heart.
1. Limit the amount of red meat that you eat. If there is no other choice. Always go for the lean cuts. For poultry, always remove the skin as these are the sources of high cholesterol. If it can be helped add fish and other seafood to your diet in lieu beef and pork.
2. Check food labels when grocery shopping. they normally indicate the amount of total fat, saturated fat, trans fat and cholesterol lovels of the food item or ingredient that you’re interested in buying, If the levels are too highlook for beter alternatives down the aisle. Also pick out food items that contain Omega 3 and 6, fatty acids that are proven to improve cardiovascular health
3. Cut back on sodium. Sodium is found in table salta and most processed foods available in the market. It’s also a chemical that makes your blood pressure rise. Too much of it not only damage your heart, but bring a slew of other diseases to the table.if you find yourself for a handful of chips at a party, thnk better of it! you’ll thank yourself later on.
4. Drink alcoholic beverages moderately. While others argue that drinking beer or wine at least once a day can help battle heart disease, excessive drinking is still inadvisable. Too much alcohol increases your calorie intake (which could lead to obesity) and leads to high blood pressure, heart failure, and stroke.
