Rubies of Eventide is a free massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in a fantasy world. Like many fantasy RPGs online, you play a particular character in this 3-D game. What you want to do with the game is up to you. Many players enjoy entering combat with the tons of different monster available, while some players enjoy a more stable game and work on their skills by mining or crafting. Regardless of how you play the game, combat is likely to ensue eventually just because there are so many monsters around and sometimes they’ll attack even when you’re just in their area.
The graphics for Rubies of Eventide are pretty solid, somewhat comparable to Grand Theft Auto 3 of five or so years ago. For players who have to have the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art graphics, this game probably isn’t for you. But still, this is a free game and the graphics are definitely strong.
One downside to some potential players is that you have to download the game to play it. No, it’s not available online in a browser. After about three years of playing Rubies of Eventide, I can say that I’ve very rarely had trouble signing on to play, nor have I had any major technical issues.
Keep in mind this game is free, but if you want to donate money, you can. And this opens up a new island for gameplay, and you receive three magic items, a sword, a cloak and a ring.
Rubies of Eventide is a great game for those who like to play alone, since there usually are not a ton of other players online, but you can also temporarily join a group or even permanently join a guild, or even create your own guild.
I won’t give anything away, but there is a finale to the game, but it takes so long to get there you more than likely never will. After three years at it, I’m nowhere near ending the game.

Good luck, and enjoy Rubies of Eventide!
