LG Electronics has recently announced the release of its new camera phone the LG Viewty Smart (LG-GC900). Brand new, its onboard camera option comes with an Intelligent Shot Mode, which means that one can take great pictures easily, by automatically analyzing scenes and adjusting camera settings accordingly.
The first LG Viewty sold more than 6.5 million units. The second incarnation gives the user the opportunity to benefit from even more enhanced enjoyment during viewing and sharing activities, on top of taking still and moving pictures; this is possible thanks to a number of upgraded features. Among these features are an 8-megapixel sensor with a sensitivity rating of up to ISO 1600, a higher resolution WVGA touchscreen, a more intelligent image processor and the S-Class User Interface, typical of LG products and easy to use.
The 8 megapixels of resolution means that the pictures you can take with Viewty’s are more than just great for sharing online; they are sharp enough to print and frame. The maximum ISO setting being 1600, it is now possible for one to capture shots usually considered too dim or dark without even needing to impart a flash. The situation can be further improved with the phone’s LED flash.
New Camera features from Viewty Smart include MultiFace Detection and D1 video recording in DVD quality.
One can use Viewty Smart for sharing photos every bit as optimally as for taking them. For it has a wide, sharp 3-inch WVGA screen offering 800 x 480 resolution. And a 7.2 Mbps HSDPA network and Wi-Fi compatibility means that with Viewty Smart, you can obtain photos from the Internet at broadband speeds. A-GPS geotagging means that you can see the exact spot where a photo was taken. 1.5 GB internal memory; with MicroSD cards offering up to 32 GB.
