Teach Your Kids With Free Educational Games

It isn’t always easy to get children to want to learn. So it is always good to have games they can play and learn at the same time.

Here is a list of some great sites to look into:

Alfy games

Aplus math

Cyber kids

Fact Monster

Kid info

Math games site bookmarks

Reading links

Social Studies links

The super kids

Yahoo! Kids

One of my personal favorite science sites is wikisky. It is for the person that is interested in the stars. It is very cool. Kids, as well as, adults will love this site. NASA also gives out posters and educational cds.

For many kids, it is the start of summer vacation. And they really don’t want to think about doing school things. But, they may be more than willing to play a game.

I am sure that you will find a game that your child will play. Some games my daughter hated playing. She always thought it seemed too much like being in school. Other games she just loved doing. A favorite math game of hers was multiflyer. Her fourth grade teacher had the whole class playing it.

You can also get free educational games software. Most of these do require you to pay shipping so there is a cost involved. For those, you can look at planetcdrom or owl & mouse. Owl and mouse also has downloads and online games.

You can also go to educational-freeware for freeware downloads.

Many of these sites are for elementary age students.

I hope that you find something that will engage your child in wanting to learn. We all know the best way to learn is when we are enjoying ourselves.
